Security Guard

About This Role

As a Security Guard at a logistics site, you will safeguard clients in the logistics and distribution industry by controlling access, managing traffic, and conducting patrols to maintain order and deter incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following security procedures
• Control access at entrances, gates, and loading dock areas by verifying identification and documenting entries/exits
• Monitor and respond to access control alarms, suspicious activity, and other incidents calmly
• Support security-related screening and property movement processes
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, yard, parking areas, and perimeter

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Guard Card and/or license
• Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
