Seasonal Volleyball Gym Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise activities in a volleyball gym, ensuring a safe and organized environment for players, spectators, and staff. This role requires providing high-level customer service and enforcing facility rules and policies.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and take-down of equipment
• Direct players to assigned areas
• Cleanup and oversight of facilities
• Record keeping
• Document game and/or incident reports
• Document accidents/injuries
• Manage conflicts
• Enforce school rules and Spokane Parks and Recreation policies regarding gym use

Requirements

• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Able to work as a team member and/or independently
• Must be 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation
• Subject to background checks

Nice to Have

• Previous experience working with recreation programs
• Previous team-sports experience
• Customer service experience
