The Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate is responsible for providing SMART customer service, building vendor relationships, and ensuring merchandise resets are completed accurately. This role primarily focuses on in-stock maintenance, merchandising to planograms, and maintaining clean and safe stores, with occasional customer interaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide SMART customer service through daily execution of Lowe's policies and procedures
- Build relationships with vendors, ensuring merchandise resets are completed to specifications
- Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and Manager on project priorities and needs
- Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service
- Engage with customers to understand needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, or loading merchandise
- Move or replace beams and grids, rotate stock, build and display products using power equipment
- Identify damaged products, remove them from shelves, and deliver to Return to Manufacturer (RTM) area
- Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping
- Identify damaged or missing signage, displays, and collateral and order replacements
- Confirm product pricing information is visible, clear, and resolve/replace missing labels
- Audit and update pricing labels inside and outside the store to ensure accuracy
- Remove all trash, move cardboard boxes to the bailer, and plastic wrap to the compactor
- Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks, communicating to management
- Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to job duties, including top stock safety and power equipment use
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement
Nice to Have
- 6 Months of Lowe’s sales floor experience
- 6 Months of Experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and plantograms, setting up and tearing down displays
- 3 Months of Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
