Seasonal Associate Producer

About This Role

The Seasonal Associate Producer will oversee the planning of video and graphics for segments in both NFL Network and Digital shows, specifically for Good Morning Football. This role involves critical decision-making on show content and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality visual elements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning of video and graphics for segments in NFL Network and Digital shows, particularly for Good Morning Football
• Work closely with show Producers, Segment Producers, and Senior Producers on daily show content
• Collaborate with editors to create high-end video material, packages, and opens for shows
• Formulate and pitch ideas for show elements (edited pieces, specialty graphics) and segment topics in production meetings
• Sork with NFL Media Group Talent to plan video and graphics for segments
• Develop and implement on-screen graphics for various NFL Network and Digital shows and coverage
• Responsible for reaching out to various media outlets for film/video/still photos/sound as needed
• Adhere to established production schedules and meet deadlines
• Coach Production Assistants on editorial judgment, post-produced tapes, and graphics execution
• Oversee graphics built by VizRT operators

Requirements

• 3-5 years' experience in related field
• Strong NFL knowledge (present day & historical)
• Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail/organizational skills
• Ability to decipher the most important and up-to-date information for all NFL stories
• Strong understanding of workflows in control rooms and edit environments
• Strong writing skills

Qualifications

• At least 3-5 years' experience in related field

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or related field
• Previous professional experience in TV production environment, including graphics
• Strong knowledge of live TV production dynamics and working knowledge of the equipment and technologies used in control rooms and edit bays
• Good writing and copy-editing skills
• Technical knowledge of what "works" on TV
