School Psychologist Intern

About This Role

This School Psychologist Internship focuses on advocating for student learning and social experiences, contributing to a positive school climate, and conducting evaluations to identify student academic and social/emotional needs, all under the guidance of a School Psychologist.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the quality of learning and social experiences for all students
• Provide feedback on the learning environment
• Assist in the development and actuation of a positive school climate
• Conduct screenings and evaluations to identify academic and social/emotional needs of students
• Work as part of the school student service team
• Assist in developing conditions for learning to optimize the development of all children

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a School Psychology Program through an accredited college/university
• Ability to work effectively and demonstrate exemplary interpersonal skills in dealing with students, staff members, and parents
• Ability to travel to/from various locations in the district as needed
