The Scheduling Coordinator will provide excellent customer service by scheduling appointments for patients across multiple locations via phone and online, ensuring accurate and efficient practices. This role supports patient scheduling needs and performs various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments for multiple locations and online requests
- Review provider schedules to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling practices
- Strive for one-call resolution and escalate issues as appropriate
- Follow established department best practice standards for timely and accurate appointment scheduling
- Electronically send new patient paperwork
- Stay current on updates related to clinic locations, providers, and physician scheduling preferences
- Obtain insurance eligibility or authorizations
- Meet established team KIPs, productivity goals, and call audit quality standards
- Perform various administrative tasks and projects as assigned

- Ability to manage time while meeting goals and assigned metrics
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a scheduling or call center environment preferred but not required. Experience in a prior healthcare role focused on medical appointment scheduling is preferred.
