The Scheduling Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring each patient receives excellent treatment by welcoming them, managing appointments, and providing exceptional customer service in a state-of-the-art orthodontic practice.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients as they enter the practice
- Answer phones and greet patients
- Schedule appointments for both new and current patients and answer questions about upcoming appointments
- Assist in opening and closing the practice everyday with other team members
- Take payments and assist in verifying insurance, if needed
- Serve as the "face" and the "voice" of the practice
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong organizational skills
- Flexible Schedule
- Effective and respectful communication abilities
- Ability to multitask
- Reliability and responsiveness to patients and team
- General knowledge and understanding of front office and administrative duties
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service mindset
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
Nice to Have
- 1-2 years front office experience, dental preferred
