This role supports patient access by performing various front office duties, including greeting customers, answering phones, and scheduling appointments for a primary care clinic.
Responsibilities
- Support patient access by serving as a greeter, operator, or general scheduler
- Greet customers and/or answer the main telephone line for the practice location
- Provide a positive first impression of PHI to customers and callers
- Address callers' questions immediately, as appropriate
- Triage calls to the appropriate PHI person
- Schedule clinic appointments and ancillary procedures
- Provide coverage for other Front Office positions as requested
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) year of experience as a customer service representative, scheduler, or closely related position
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) year of experience as a customer service representative, scheduler, or closely related position, preferably in the healthcare industry.
