RN - Inpatient Heart Failure

About This Role

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within the Inpatient Heart Failure unit at Piedmont Athens Regional, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients
• Function within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability
• Maintain standards of practice
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care

Requirements

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
• Basic Life Support (BCLS)

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
• No experience required, new graduates eligible. 1 year in a hospital setting preferred for PRN positions.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's Degree
• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
