About This Role

The Project Scheduler will play a key role in planning, monitoring, and delivering complex projects on time and within budget, focusing on schedule development, tracking performance, and supporting cost controls. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of detailed project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software, ensuring alignment with project scope, milestones, and contractual requirements
  • Support preparation of project cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts; monitor actual costs versus planned budgets and identify variances and corrective actions
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret project data to produce accurate and timely performance reports for project leadership and stakeholders
  • Identify schedule risks and opportunities; contribute to risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and contingency planning
  • Prepare and present high-level project status reports and executive-level presentations covering schedule, cost, and performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with project management processes, procedures, and industry best practices
  • Partner with project managers, engineers, contractors, and external stakeholders to drive coordination and schedule integrity
  • Promote strong communication, collaboration, and accountability across the project team

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in project scheduling or project controls roles supporting complex projects
  • Experience executing maintenance projects in a nuclear plant environment
  • Strong proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in project scheduling or project controls roles supporting complex projects

Nice to Have

  • Primavera (P6) scheduling experience
