Sales Director

About This Role

The Sales Director for AmeriBen will be a key member of the sales team, responsible for achieving annual sales and profitability goals. This role involves generating sales leads, preparing for RFP opportunities, and maintaining strong partnerships with clients, brokers, and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key member of the sales team to achieve annual sales goals and profitability goals.
• Assist the RFP team with high-level strategy regarding key RFP opportunities and prepare and present at finalist presentations.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with clients, brokers, and consultants.
• Regularly travel to meet with brokers, consultants, and prospective clients.
• Assist with establishing fees and profitability of prospects.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key network partners and point solution partners.
• Cross-sell other services to self-funded groups including Anthem stop loss, CarelonRx, and AmeriBen products.
• Provide subject matter expertise on large group self-funding.
• Partner with account management to ensure successful implementation of new business and renewal of existing business.
• Maintain client and consultant relationships to retain clients year over year.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• 7 years of experience
• Sales license and appointment

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree
• 7 years of experience or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice to Have

• Ability to travel between 30-50%
• Prior experience working with Local Sales team
• Experience working with AmeriBen
