Director GBD Special Programs Services - LTSS

About This Role

Direct and oversee operations for special programs and services, such as long term service and supports (LTSS), focusing on program performance, process improvements, and managing interdependencies to ensure successful clinical service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee program operations in support of corporate and health plan management in execution of clinical service delivery
• Monitor national and local health plan market trends relative to the clinical span of the program
• Lead and/or participate in cross-functional workgroups created to maintain and develop clinical programs
• Evaluate all facets of the clinical program to improve efficiency of operations, financial return, customer service, and provider engagement
• Develop, communicate, and monitor program schedule, budget, and resources plan
• Coordinate program deliverables and resolve issues that may hinder clinical program success
• Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• 8+ years experience in a related field
• Prior management experience
• Clinical, quality, and/or utilization management experience in a managed care setting
• Tennessee residency

Qualifications

• BA/BS and minimum of 8 years experience in a related field
• Minimum of 8 years experience in a related field, including prior management experience and clinical, quality, and/or utilization management experience in a managed care setting

Nice to Have

• MBA
• RN, LSW, or LPN/LVN license
• Experience working with senior leadership and state stakeholders
• Experience presenting reports to state stakeholders
