Sales Associate

About This Role

This Sales Associate role is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service and driving sales by maintaining store standards, merchandising, and processing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each customer receives outstanding customer service
• Maintain awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions, and advertisements
• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices, including signing, pricing, and loss prevention
• Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and POS registers
• Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise; participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock
• Regulate dressing rooms for loss prevention and customer service
• Communicate customer requests to management

Requirements

• Ability to take initiative and solve problems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to present oneself and the company in a professional manner
• Proficient in the use of a personal computer and corresponding programs
• Attention to detail
• Interpersonal skills and customer service skills

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED preferred
• 1-3 years of retail/customer service preferred

Nice to Have

• 1-3 years of retail/customer service experience
