The Sales Associate supports management in fostering a customer and product-focused sales culture, ensuring a positive customer experience and maximizing profitability within the retail environment. They are responsible for driving sales, maintaining visual standards, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Meet company sales goals by utilizing sales techniques and communicating product knowledge to customers
- Recommend merchandise selections and help locate items based on customer needs
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, pricing, and visual standards
- Maintain standards in merchandise handling, presentation, and loss prevention
- Participate in visual directives, including monthly store sets and sales floor maintenance
- Promote Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and offer a cohesive omnichannel experience
- Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns
- Ensure a fast and efficient register experience, processing payments, coupons, returns, and exchanges
- Reinforce buying decisions at checkout, achieve add-on goals, and sign up clients for rewards programs
- Build and maintain a solid customer following through clienteling and wardrobing
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to learn or adapt to company technology
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate with customers, Associates, and Management
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
