Sales Associate - Plumbing

About This Role

As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, you will provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers in finding products and solving their home improvement challenges, primarily in the Plumbing department.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for customer satisfaction
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., cut and thread pipe)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout

Requirements

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
• Able to minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information; 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets

Nice to Have

• 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bi-lingual skills
• Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
