Sales Associate - Outside Lawn & Garden

About This Role

Serve as a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, guiding customers through their home improvement journey, assisting with product selection, and ensuring their overall satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Replenish supplies by identifying empty areas on shelves and down-stocking merchandise
• Accurately process orders and deliveries to ensure timely receipt of merchandise
• Cross-functionally train in other store areas to enhance customer service delivery
• Prepare merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout

Requirements

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Ability to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting
• Ability to lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and common retail technology; 6 months retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Nice to Have

• 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bi-lingual skills
• Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
