Sales Associate

About This Role

As a Full Time Lovesac Sales Associate, you will engage with customers, sell furniture products, and help them design products to fit their style and space. This role focuses on building relationships and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and demonstrate proper sales and customer service techniques to build brand loyalty
• Lead by example through client engagement and proactive selling to achieve sales goals
• Guide customers from interest to purchase, managing quotes, closing sales, and maintaining relationships
• Collaborate with team members to follow up on quotes and drive conversion for a seamless sales experience
• Champion new company initiatives including products and promotions to drive adoption and sales
• Achieve personal sales goals and KPIs while influencing others to reach their goals
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge and effectively demo, assist, and educate customers
• Proactively conduct customer outreach using company tools and communication methods
• Quickly identify and resolve customer issues to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Maintain a welcoming and visually appealing store by following visual merchandising standards

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High-School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail sales or customer service role
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support
• Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions and sensitive data
• Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict
• Able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds)
• Able to travel, as required by the Company, to local stores, third-party vendors and for occasional meetings

Qualifications

• High-School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail sales or customer service role
