About This Role

Join a new Ashley store team as a Sales Associate in Niles, OH, focusing on building customer relationships, addressing needs, and driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Maximize excellent customer service and customer satisfaction
• Meet and/or exceed minimum sales standards and assigned sales goals
• Maintain ongoing relationships with customers through continued contact
• Prospect new customers through various networking and clienteling efforts
• Complete all required initial and ongoing sales training programs and attends required store meetings
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and performs other duties as required/assigned
• Communicate with all internal/external customers, clients, management and/or colleagues in a professional manner
• Work independently and/or cooperatively with others as part of a team

Requirements

• Flexibility/availability to work retail hours/scheduling (days, evenings, weekends, holidays, special events)
• Customer service experience (face-to-face preferred)
• High-energy, entrepreneurial and team-oriented people person
• Excellent and effective communication and listening skills
• Willingness to learn and ability to be trained/coached
• Experience and/or proficiency with computerized-based systems and technologies (Windows, Microsoft Office, POS Systems, digital/mobile devices)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or GED Equivalent and above

Nice to Have

• Retail/Hospitality/Service industry experience
• Sales, upselling, marketing, interior design experience and/or education
