Sales Associate

About This Role

Provide clinical and customer support in hospitals and procedures for DePuy Synthes' orthopaedics portfolio. Ensure product knowledge, customer service, and sales logistics are of the highest standard to support sales objectives and maintain surgeon relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist DePuy Synthes sales organization in retaining and supporting further penetration with existing customers
• Support product conversions with new customers and contribute to achieving sales goals and market share objectives
• Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room using clinical and product knowledge
• Present, demonstrate, and ensure proper utilization of DePuy Synthes products during surgeries
• Support customers by attending surgeries and ensuring proper equipment availability and performance
• Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance, manage customer requests, hospital billing, and purchase orders
• Share key customer, procedural, and marketplace insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams
• Prepare sales reports and documents as required
• Maintain, track, and effectively deploy equipment and assets
• Differentiate DePuy Synthes products versus competition by providing unique customer insights

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) + minimum of 2 years of professional and/or related experience or Minimum of 4 years of professional and/or related experience or Recently transitioned from Active Military Duty
• Ability to work in a lab/operating room environment
• Willingness to travel including weekend and/or overnight travel
• Residence in or willingness to relocate to the posted territory
• Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem solving, and business acumen skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) or Minimum of 4 years of professional and/or related experience
• Minimum of 2 years of professional and/or related experience with an Associate Degree or Medical Certification, or minimum of 4 years of professional and/or related experience without a degree/certification.

Nice to Have

• Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols and solutions
