Sales Associate

About This Role

This Sales Associate role involves proactively engaging customers, understanding their needs, and recommending GNC products to help them achieve their health and wellness goals. You will also maintain store appearance, handle online orders, and support daily store operations.

Responsibilities

• Proactively greet and welcome every customer
• Interact with customers to help them choose the right products and make recommendations
• Achieve and exceed store and personal sales and productivity goals
• Fulfill online orders timely and accurately
• Boots product knowledge by learning features, advantages, and benefits of products
• Stay on top of nutritional, wellness, and fitness news
• Support store management in opening, closing, and operating the retail store
• Handle cash, inventory count, and deposits
• Maintain store appearance

Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day
• Ability to perform frequent reaching, bending, and twisting
• Ability to frequently use repetitive hand-to-finger motions and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to frequently lift up to twenty pounds, occasionally up to 40 pounds
• Ability to push/pull up to 20 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 50-85 degrees
• Ability to use a computer up to 60% of the time
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Reliability and flexibility to work varied hours and days to meet store needs
• Ability to work nights or mornings to open or close the store
• Ability to work key peak business days/hours including weekends
• Ability to work all major U.S. holidays that the store is open
