Sales Associate

About This Role

As a Part-time Sales Associate PT, you will drive business success by building and nurturing customer relationships, developing new partnerships, and growing existing accounts. You will communicate the value of inventory management solutions using a consultative sales approach.

Responsibilities

• Support business-to-business (B2B) sales and customer service activities
• Provide value to customers through a consultative sales approach
• Develop new and grow existing relationships from leads, referrals, and prospecting
• Coordinate resources to respond to customer service needs
• Perform local sales calls, driving a company vehicle to customer sites

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong aptitude for sales and a desire to sell
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
• Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
• Strong problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
• Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25lbs-50lbs (up to 75lbs)
• Ability to pass a drug screen (US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management or related field of study OR customer service/industry related work experience
• Customer service or industry related work experience is required.
