Sales Associate - Electrical & Lighting

About This Role

Provide top-notch customer service to shoppers at Lowe's, helping them find products and solve home improvement challenges. This role involves engaging with customers, assisting with merchandise, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly and professional customer service
• Answer customer questions and help them find the right products and services
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise
• Replenish supplies by restocking empty areas on shelves
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure timely receipt of merchandise
• Cross-train in other areas of the store to deliver the best customer service
• Prepare merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint paint, cut pipe, bundle wood)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout

Requirements

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
• Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation

Nice to Have

• 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bi-lingual skills
• Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
