About This Role

This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the company's safety function, driving a strong safety culture, and ensuring best-in-class safety standards across all commercial construction projects in Northern Virginia and the DC metro area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the company safety team
  • Develop, implement, and enforce safety programs and policies
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations
  • Deliver safety training and toolbox talks
  • Partner with project teams to proactively manage site safety

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Safety Director / Safety Manager role
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and commercial construction safety
  • Confident leader with excellent communication skills

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Safety Director / Safety Manager role

Nice to Have

  • Background in commercial construction
