This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the company's safety function, driving a strong safety culture, and ensuring best-in-class safety standards across all commercial construction projects in Northern Virginia and the DC metro area.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company safety team
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety programs and policies
- Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations
- Deliver safety training and toolbox talks
- Partner with project teams to proactively manage site safety
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Safety Director / Safety Manager role
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and commercial construction safety
- Confident leader with excellent communication skills
