Provide direct patient care in a critical care setting during weekend shifts for a premium pay. This role focuses on safe, effective, and patient-centered care, emphasizing quality outcomes and professional development.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the care of a group of patients
- Focus on safe effective patient and family centered care, customer satisfaction and quality outcomes
- Assist in maintaining a financially stable unit
- Promote own development with an emphasis on evidence based practice and education
- Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff members
- Assess, develop, implement and evaluate the patient plan of care
- Focus on patient and family comforts, education and satisfaction
- Apply educational and professional experiences in the delivery of quality care and mentoring/precepting staff
Requirements
- Diploma or Associate Nursing
- Registered Nurse (IN) license
Qualifications
- Diploma or Associate Nursing
- No experience required for full-time or part-time positions. If PRN, one year of RN/LPN experience in an inpatient, acute-care setting is required.
