Registration Representative, Patient Registration

About This Role

Serve as a Registration Representative responsible for greeting and interviewing patients, obtaining necessary information and signatures, distributing informational materials, and directing patients to appropriate departments while maintaining HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interview patients or their representatives to obtain all necessary information and signatures required for treatment
• Prepare and distribute all required patient informational material
• Maintain HIPAA guidelines during all patient interactions and handling of information
• Direct and/or escort patients to the appropriate department or floor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• No experience required; comprehensive on-the-job training provided.

Nice to Have

• One year of experience in a healthcare setting
