RN Supervisor

About This Role

The Registered Nurse Supervisor ensures accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation and care delivery for adult home care services within state and Medicaid regulations. This role involves completing assessments, developing care plans, conducting supervisory visits, and overseeing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete and review initial assessments and renewal assessments in accordance with regulatory timelines
• Review and update individualized plans of care to ensure alignment with assessed needs and physician orders
• Review care delivery documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Ensure documentation reflects client needs, service justification, and regulatory requirements
• Identify documentation deficiencies and provide feedback or corrective guidance as needed
• Conduct required supervisory visits in clients’ homes in accordance with state and Medicaid regulations
• Evaluate the delivery of skilled nursing and personal care services
• Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to appropriate clinical leadership and care team members
• Provide education and clinical guidance to caregivers and field staff as needed
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state, Medicaid, and agency documentation standards

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Current TB screening

Qualifications

• Experience in adult home care or home health nursing preferred. Experience completing and reviewing clinical assessments and care plans. Supervisory visit experience preferred.
