RN Shift Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise nursing activities at River Glen Health Care Center, ensuring adherence to regulations and maintaining high-quality patient care. Serve as administration's representative in their absence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of nursing activities during the shift
• Assure adherence to State and Federal Regulations, as well as Facility Policy and Procedures
• Maintain the highest degree of quality care
• Serve as Administration's representation in the facility during the absence of the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and Administrator
• Carry out assigned duties with administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability

Requirements

• 1+ year experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility
• Actively licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN/LVN

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or an accredited RN program is preferred, or a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program currently enrolled in an approved RN program and actively pursuing an RN Licensure.
• 1+ year experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility.

• Experience in Skilled Nursing
• Knowledge of Long Term Care Federal Regulations
