Housekeeper

About This Role

Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of a long-term care facility, including patient rooms, common areas, and specialized equipment. This role supports a healthy and secure environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility by cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and polishing
• Remove miscellaneous debris by removing trash
• Refresh bath areas by cleaning toilet and sinks; refilling hand towel and toilet paper dispensers
• Clean floors by washing and vacuuming
• Maintain furnishings by dusting and polishing furniture; cleaning and polishing glass surfaces
• Keep supplies ready by restocking and ordering new housekeeping supplies as needed
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with security regulations
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1 year of related experience
