About This Role

As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will provide critical care to surgical patients immediately post-operation by managing airway support, monitoring vitals, and responding to complications. This role involves initial wound care and ensuring patient stability during recovery.

Responsibilities

Manage airway support for surgical patients post-operation
Closely monitor neurological and cardiac status
Respond promptly to any complications or side effects
Provide initial wound care to patients’ surgical sites
Ensure patient stability during recovery
Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia team
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
Apply the nursing process, critical thinking, scientific judgment, technical skills and leadership to deliver safe nursing care
Assess patient condition, monitor throughout shift, and document changes along with care provided
Educate patients and families/caregivers about medical condition, treatment and follow-up

Requirements

Associate Degree
Registered Nurse (RN) license
