About This Role

This role is for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse on the NOC shift, responsible for direct resident care and delegation of tasks to nursing assistants within Lakeland Health Care Center.

Responsibilities

  • Perform professional nursing activities in the care of residents
  • Delegate aspects of care delivery to nursing assistants as appropriate
  • Assist in completing performance evaluations for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Certified Medication Assistants (CMA)

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in nursing (RN) or Technical diploma in practical nursing (LPN)
  • Zero to six months of relevant prior experience
  • Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or Wisconsin Licensed Practical Nurse license
  • Current BLS CPR certification
  • Criminal background check free of convictions of abuse or misappropriation of property
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations (RN)
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts (LPN)
  • Proven experience with medical terminology

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in nursing (RN) or Technical diploma in practical nursing (LPN)
  • Zero to six months of relevant prior experience
