About This Role

This role is for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse on the NOC shift, responsible for direct resident care and delegation of tasks to nursing assistants within Lakeland Health Care Center.

Responsibilities

Perform professional nursing activities in the care of residents
Delegate aspects of care delivery to nursing assistants as appropriate
Assist in completing performance evaluations for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Certified Medication Assistants (CMA)

Requirements

Associate’s degree in nursing (RN) or Technical diploma in practical nursing (LPN)
Zero to six months of relevant prior experience
Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or Wisconsin Licensed Practical Nurse license
Current BLS CPR certification
Criminal background check free of convictions of abuse or misappropriation of property
Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations (RN)
Ability to calculate figures and amounts and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts (LPN)
Proven experience with medical terminology

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in nursing (RN) or Technical diploma in practical nursing (LPN)
Zero to six months of relevant prior experience
