This role is for a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse on the NOC shift, responsible for direct resident care and delegation of tasks to nursing assistants within Lakeland Health Care Center.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional nursing activities in the care of residents
- Delegate aspects of care delivery to nursing assistants as appropriate
- Assist in completing performance evaluations for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Certified Medication Assistants (CMA)
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in nursing (RN) or Technical diploma in practical nursing (LPN)
- Zero to six months of relevant prior experience
- Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or Wisconsin Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Current BLS CPR certification
- Criminal background check free of convictions of abuse or misappropriation of property
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations (RN)
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts (LPN)
- Proven experience with medical terminology
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in nursing (RN) or Technical diploma in practical nursing (LPN)
- Zero to six months of relevant prior experience
