RN-Nurse Practitioner

About This Role

This role is for a Nurse Practitioner who will autonomously and collaboratively treat and manage patients' health problems, performing comprehensive assessments and managing illness and disease.

Responsibilities

• Practice autonomously and in collaboration with other health care professionals
• Treat and manage patient's health problems
• Serve as researchers, consultants, and patient advocates for individuals, families, groups, and communities
• Perform comprehensive assessments
• Diagnose and manage illness and disease
• Develop a plan of care within scope of practice utilizing written protocols to ensure quality patient care
• Use prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, treatments, and theories in accordance with state/federal laws and regulations
• Enhance quality and effectiveness of nursing practice
• Interact with and contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues
• Provide clinical leadership
• Support life long learning
• Complete assigned goals

Requirements

• 1 year clinical experience functioning in the nurse practitioner role in a primary care setting
• Master's or Doctoral degree as a nurse practitioner
• Computer literate
• Current nurse practitioner certification
• Eligibility for or possession of certificate of fitness/prescription privileges
• RN license

Qualifications

• Either a Masters or Doctoral level as a nurse practitioner.
• 1 year clinical experience functioning in the nurse practitioner role in a primary care setting
