RN Nurse Manager

About This Role

Lead and supervise a team of nurses and field staff, ensuring high-quality clinical care and adherence to policies for adult home care clients in Blairsville, PA. This role involves client home visits, case management, and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), and other field staff
• Manage day-to-day clinical operations, including patient assignments, and case load oversight
• Perform initial patient assessments, including home safety evaluations, and develop individualized plans of care
• Conduct supervisory home visits to ensure adherence to care plans, nursing standards, and regulatory guidelines
• Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
• Participate in performance evaluations, corrective actions, and staff development plans for nursing personnel
• Provide clinical guidance and support to field staff for complex cases or emergency situations
• Collaborate with intake, scheduling, and administrative departments to support smooth patient transitions and service coordination
• Lead and/or participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and care team meetings
• Serve as a clinical liaison with physicians, specialists, schools, therapists, and external case managers
• Ensure proper implementation of infection control, medication safety, and emergency protocols in the home setting

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum two years recent and verifiable high-tech pediatric experience as an RN, or two (2) years experience as a Pediatric Clinical Manager, preferably in home care
• Child Abuse Clearance (in states where applicable)
• Strong assessment and organizational skills
• Prior supervisory experience with field staff, and experience with clinical oversight, monitoring quality assurance, and overall case management
• Demonstrated successful track record of working independently while taking on increased or diverse responsibilities
• Solid communication and PC skills

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license; BSN/MSN preferred
• Minimum two years recent and verifiable high-tech pediatric experience as an RN, or two (2) years experience as a Pediatric Clinical Manager, preferably in home care
