Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients in the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring their physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs are met while maintaining accurate medical records.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to all assigned patients in accordance with established standards of care and the Nurse Practice Act
- Meet the physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of assigned patients
- Maintain the patient's medical record with proper documentation of nursing observation and actions
- Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate rendered nursing care
- Utilize the nursing process to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
Requirements
- Current licensure as a registered nurse by the Mississippi Board of Nursing
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- ICU experience or general nursing experience preferred, but entry level is accepted.

Certifications
ACLS

PALS

TNCC certification within 6-9 months of hire
