RN - Endoscopy

About This Role

Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation as an Endoscopy Registered Nurse. Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established standards, collaborating with professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Assess, plan, implement, direct, supervise, and evaluate direct and indirect nursing care for patients in the gastroenterology/endoscopy setting

Requirements

• Other Certificate/Diploma Nursing required
• Registered Nurse [RN - Massachusetts]
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification within 3 months of hire
• PACU experience required
• One (1) to three (3) years medical/surgical experience required
• 1-year critical care experience required
• Ability to work in the pre-procedure, procedure, post-procedure areas of endoscopy
• Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma Nursing required or Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
• 1 to 3 years medical/surgical experience required plus 1 year critical care experience required. PACU experience required.
