The Clinical Oncology Triage RN provides exceptional patient-centered care at St. Luke's Cancer Institute clinics by prioritizing walk-in and telephone triage encounters. This role involves focused assessments, patient teaching, and coordinating care with providers and other healthcare associates.
Responsibilities
- Prioritize walk-in and telephone triage encounters for oncology patients
- Address presenting symptoms with focused assessments and management plans
- Provide patient teaching related to symptoms and care coordination
- Consult with providers, team members, and external health associates for patient care
- Cross-train in other clinic areas for coverage purposes
Requirements
- One (1) + years' RN experience
- Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification
- RN license within the state of Nevada or able to obtain once hired
Qualifications
- Nursing Degree
- One (1) + years' RN experience
