RN Clinical Oncology

About This Role

The Clinical Oncology RN conducts focused assessments, manages symptoms, provides patient education, and coordinates care for oncology patients through walk-in and telephone triage encounters.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize walk-in and telephone triage encounters
• Address presenting symptoms with focused assessments and management
• Provide patient teaching and coordinate patient care needs
• Consult with providers, key team members, and outside health associates
• Cross-train in another area within the clinic for coverage purposes

Requirements

• Nursing Degree
• 1+ year of RN experience
• Current RN license
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• Nursing Degree
• One (1) + years’ RN experience

Nice to Have

• Oncology experience
• Triage experience
• Clinic experience
• RN license within the state of Nevada or willing to obtain once hired
