RN Charge Nurse

About This Role

This RN Charge Nurse position assesses resident needs, develops individualized care plans, administers nursing care, and supervises nursing assistants within a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident's needs
• Develop an individualized care plan
• Administer nursing care
• Evaluate nursing care
• Supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care in a SNF setting
• Ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times
• Follow all health, sanitary and infection control policies
• Maintain established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN or LPN within the state
• Current CPR certification
• Basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including electronic health record software
