About This Role

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through their lifecycle in a Cardiac Stepdown unit, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients
• Function within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability
• Maintain standards of practice
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care

Requirements

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
• BCLS - Basic Life Support
• ACLS Certification (within 180 Days of start for new to specialty or nurse residents)

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing in Georgia
• No experience required; new graduates are eligible. 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions is preferred.

Nice to Have
