About This Role

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Function within organizational policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle
  • Utilize nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Function within the framework of organizational policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate professional growth and accountability
  • Maintain standards of practice
  • Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff

Requirements

  • Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
  • BCLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification (within 180 Days if in Cardiac Tele/Critical Care/L&D, etc)
  • PALS Certification (within 180 Days if in Emergency Department/Pediatrics/Surgical Services)
  • Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification (prior to independent chemotherapy administration if in Infusion/Oncology)
  • NRP (by end of orientation/within 180 Days if in Womens Services/NICU)
  • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program (within 12 months if in Labor and Delivery)

Qualifications

  • Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • No experience required, new nursing graduates eligible.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
  • 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions
  • CDN (Certified Dialysis Certificate) for Dialysis

Certifications

BCLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
