Retail Service Specialist

About This Role

This role supports the Store Manager and Assistant Managers by overseeing sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The Retail Service Specialist will also take on shift management responsibilities when managers are absent.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution on customer service programs
• Ensure the telephone is answered according to company policy
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner
• Contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed
• Ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently and according to procedure
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges in an efficient and friendly manner
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store
• Ensure Zipline messages are communicated, and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed
• Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, verifying/securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, securing the building, and arming/disarming security alarms

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification

Nice to Have

• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
