Retail Service Specialist

About This Role

Support store management in areas such as sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations, while also assuming shift management responsibilities when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution on customer service programs
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner, and contact customers upon shipment arrivals
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, utilizing electronic outside purchase order ledger
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly, issue accurate refunds using correct payment methods, and process or stage returned merchandise correctly
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store
• Ensure Zipline messages are communicated, and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed
• Ensure team members adhere to the posted work schedule, with changes/deviations approved by management, and clock in/out according to policy
• Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, verifying/securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, and securing the building and delivery vehicles

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification

Nice to Have

• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
