Retail Service Specialist

About This Role

Support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers by leading store operations, customer service, and sales. Manage shifts in the absence of a manager and ensure efficient store processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution of customer service programs
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy
• Process online orders, transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store
• Ensure Zipline messages are communicated and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed
• Verify team member adherence to posted work schedules and company clock-in/out policy
• Perform all store opening/closing duties, including verifying money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, and securing the building and vehicles

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification

Nice to Have

• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
