The Retail Service Specialist supports the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations, assuming shift management responsibilities when necessary. This role focuses on leading teams to provide excellent customer service and ensuring efficient store processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
- Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution on customer service programs
- Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy
- Process online orders and transfers in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals
- Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure
- Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately
- Ensure all merchandise, core charges, and warranties are invoiced before product leaves the store
- Ensure Zipline messages are communicated and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed
- Monitor team member adherence to work schedules and clock-in/out policies
- Perform all store opening/closing duties, including managing money, deposits, and securing the building
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to obtain RSS Certification
Nice to Have
- Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
- Automotive systems and repair knowledge
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
