This role supports the Store Manager and Assistant Managers by overseeing sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The specialist will also assume shift management responsibilities when managers are absent, leading the team to provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
- Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution on customer service programs
- Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy
- Process online orders, transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals
- Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure
- Process retail customer returns and exchanges in an efficient and friendly manner, ensuring accurate refunds
- Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store
- Communicate Zipline messages and ensure Image Maker and merchandising tasks are completed
- Ensure team members adhere to work schedules and clock in/out according to company policy
- Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, securing money, and arming/disarming security alarms
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to obtain RSS Certification
Nice to Have
- Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
- Automotive systems and repair knowledge
- ASE Certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
