Retail Service Specialist

About This Role

This Retail Service Specialist position supports store management in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations, stepping in for shift management when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom including execution of customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot)
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy
• Process online orders and transfers promptly, contacting customers upon shipment arrivals
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and by procedure
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately
• Ensure all merchandise, core charges, and warranties are invoiced before product leaves the store
• Ensure Zipline messages are communicated and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed
• Ensure team members adhere to schedules and clock in/out policies
• Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, securing money/deposits, and arming/disarming alarms

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification

Nice to Have

• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
