Support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers by providing excellent customer service, maintaining store appearance, and overseeing store operations for retail and professional customers. Assume shift management responsibilities when managers are absent.
Responsibilities
- Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
- Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, ensuring team member execution on customer service programs
- Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy
- Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner
- Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure
- Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately
- Ensure all merchandise, core charges, and warranties are invoiced before product leaves the store
- Communicate Zipline messages and ensure Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed
- Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedules and clock in/out according to company policy
- Perform all store opening/closing duties, including verifying/securing money/deposits and arming/disarming security alarms
Requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to obtain RSS Certification
Nice to Have
- Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
- Automotive systems and repair knowledge
- ASE Certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
