Retail Service Specialist

About This Role

The Retail Service Specialist supports store management in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role involves leading the store team to provide excellent customer service and assuming shift management responsibilities when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Ensure Zipline messages are communicated and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are completed.
• Ensure team members adhere to schedules and clock in/out according to policy.
• Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, securing money/deposits, and arming/disarming security alarms.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification

Nice to Have

• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
