Retail Service Specialist

About This Role

This role supports the Store Manager and Assistant Managers by overseeing sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The specialist will also take on shift management responsibilities when managers are absent.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including execution of customer service programs
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy
• Process online orders, transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges accurately
• Ensure all merchandise, core charges, and warranties are invoiced before product leaves the store
• Communicate Zipline messages and ensure Image Maker and merchandising tasks are completed
• Verify team members adhere to posted work schedules and clock in/out policies
• Perform all store opening/closing duties, including securing money and the building

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification

Nice to Have

• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
