Retail Service Specialist

About This Role

This role supports the Store Manager and Assistant Managers by focusing on sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities when managers are absent.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy
• Process online orders and transfers in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and accurately
• Ensure all merchandise, core charges, and warranties are invoiced before product leaves the store
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks
• Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedules and clock in/out according to policy
• Perform all store opening/closing duties, including securing money, arming alarms, and checking delivery vehicles

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification

Nice to Have

• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
