Retail Service Specialist

About This Role

This role supports store management in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations, while also assuming shift management duties when managers are absent. The specialist trains and supervises team members to ensure excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution on customer service programs
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy
• Process online orders, transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and contact customers upon shipment arrivals
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure
• Process retail customer returns and exchanges, issue accurate refunds, and stage returned merchandise correctly
• Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store
• Communicate Zipline messages and ensure Image Maker and merchandising tasks are completed
• Ensure team members adhere to posted work schedules and clock in/out according to company policy
• Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, securing money/deposits, and arming/disarming security alarms

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification

Nice to Have

• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
